Default eBay - How I can be sure I am buying a genuine product?

When buying from eBay, how I can be sure I am buying a genuine product? I would love to buy a mens Gucci belt (In my country there is no Gucci store at all!). I wonder, can 20£ costing belt be a genuine? Why there is also those 130£ costing?

Is there any experience using eBay? Who is selling real stuff?

this is the basic rule: if you're buying a bnwt (brand new with tags) item and the price is say more than 20% cheaper than retail then you can be sure its a fake. with secondhand gear its different for obvious reasons. Beware of the brand new gear going too cheap. Also ask the seller for the purchase receipt and details of where they made the purchase.

Not all the time!!! Just becasue it's BNWT and 20% cheaper - doesn't mean it's fake.

Main thing is check the sellers feed back. If 1 person questions authenticity then - chances are they sell other fakes.

I UNDERSTAND FASH'S RATIONALE. IF IT IS MORE THAN 20% CHEAPER THAN RETAIL AND THE GARMENT IS GENUINE THE SELLER WILL NOT MAKE MUCH PROFIT THEREFORE YOU HAVE TO QUESTION THE SALE. IN MY OPINION A BNWT ITEM MORE THAN 30% CHEAPER THAN RETAIL IS ALMOST GUARANTEED TO BE COUNTERFEIT.
